Can anyone tell me who minted these bars? I have seen one ounce rounds with the same wierd symbol, the rounds were stamped "Universario" or something like that.

Those Universaro rounds were minted during the 70s.

There was a lot of weird refiners during the 70s & 80s that are no longer in existence.

Cool looking bars.

I just parted with a couple similar looking 10 ounce bars...wish I could see a size comparison.

I binged "international silver mint corporation".
The fellow who owned the mint was snared in an ugly divorce and that was the end of it.

Here's the story:

I still wonder about that wierd symbol. There's no telling how he arrived at that design.

I didn't pay much more than that for them back in 2003 or 2004. But I'll decline your generous offer, anyway!
